Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full R&D lifecycle, including ideation, prototyping, and validation of developer service capabilities related to code hosting, quality tools, API toolsets, middleware, and integrated development environments.
• Conduct in-depth industry analysis and competitive research to track technological trends, business development patterns, and market demands, ensuring product direction remains aligned with industry evolution.
• Develop and execute product iteration roadmaps, translating customer needs and market insights into actionable requirements and technical specifications.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage project resources, monitor progress milestones, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality product solutions.
• Drive internal product adoption through effective communication, training programs, and collaboration with engineering teams to promote tool usage and integration.
• Facilitate product commercialization by creating go-to-market strategies, engaging with sales and business development teams, and supporting customer success initiatives.
• Establish and maintain a customer-centric product iteration mechanism, leveraging feedback loops, user analytics, and market data to continuously refine solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical architecture, ensure scalability and security of development platforms, and optimize user experience for all product components.
• Monitor product performance metrics, conduct post-launch reviews, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing service capabilities.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies to ensure the development tools and middleware solutions remain competitive and future-proof.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in product development, preferably in software engineering or developer tools domain, with a strong background in R&D processes and technical implementation.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret market trends, user behavior data, and business requirements, translating them into actionable product strategies.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including code hosting platforms (e.g., GitLab, GitHub), quality assurance tools (e.g., SonarQube, Jira), and middleware technologies.
• Ability to design user-centric product solutions, with expertise in interaction design, API development, and system integration methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and business development departments.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, with experience in resource allocation, timeline estimation, and risk management for product development projects.
• Knowledge of product commercialization strategies, including pricing models, customer acquisition channels, and market positioning techniques.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges, optimize product performance, and enhance user experience across all development platforms.
• Ability to establish feedback mechanisms, conduct user research, and implement continuous improvement processes for product development.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, with 5+ years of experience in software development or product management roles.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello for managing product development workflows.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to support efficient development and deployment processes for code hosting and middleware solutions.
• Ability to create technical documentation, user manuals, and API specifications to ensure clarity and usability for end-users and developers.
• Strong leadership skills to guide product teams, mentor junior developers, and drive innovation in service capabilities.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and tools for tracking feedback, managing customer interactions, and improving product satisfaction.
• Ability to analyze competitor products, identify market gaps, and develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) to interpret user data, track product performance, and make data-driven decisions.
