Job Description
This position is responsible for translating a wide range of content including social media articles, company announcements, and other official materials. The translator will work closely with cross-departmental teams to ensure that all translated content aligns with organizational goals and brand messaging. Key tasks involve maintaining consistent language quality across all deliverables, implementing standardized translation protocols, and providing regular updates on project progress to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately translate social media content and corporate communications into target languages while preserving the original intent and tone

- Develop and maintain translation memory databases to improve efficiency and consistency across projects

Job Requirements
- Native or fluent proficiency in English and at least one additional language (e.g., Spanish, French, Mandarin, Japanese)
- Proven experience in professional translation with a strong track record of delivering high-quality content under tight deadlines
- Excellent understanding of translation technologies including CAT tools (Trados, MemoQ, SDL) and terminology management systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistent terminology and style across all translation projects
- Ability to work independently while maintaining open communication with project managers and content teams
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms for seamless content delivery
- Knowledge of localization best practices and cultural sensitivity in international communication contexts
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize multiple translation tasks simultaneously
- Ability to adapt translation style to different content types including formal announcements and informal social media posts
- Proficiency in using translation memory databases to improve consistency and reduce redundant work
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve translation inconsistencies or errors in content
- Experience with quality control processes including peer reviews, machine translation post-editing, and content validation
