Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Translate a wide variety of content covering cryptocurrency topics including blockchain technology, digital assets, trading platforms, and regulatory frameworks
• Ensure all translations meet the needs of other departments through precise terminology and culturally appropriate adaptations
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of quality translations by implementing rigorous proofreading protocols and adhering to style guides
• Report back to the project manager as appropriate, providing regular updates on project progress and translation challenges
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to verify technical accuracy and maintain industry-specific terminology
• Contribute to the development and refinement of linguistic quality control processes through feedback and process optimization
• Manage translation memory databases and terminology tools to improve efficiency and consistency
• Support localization efforts by adapting content for different regional markets and user demographics
• Participate in post-translation reviews to ensure alignment with project goals and quality benchmarks
• Stay updated on cryptocurrency industry developments to maintain relevance and accuracy in translations

Job Requirements

• Native or fluent proficiency in English and Chinese, with additional language skills (e.g., Japanese, Korean) as a plus
• Proven experience in translating technical or financial content, preferably within the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry
• Proficiency in translation tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or Wordfast, and familiarity with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) workflows
• Strong attention to detail with a minimum of 2 years' experience in professional translation services
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project managers and team members
• Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality output
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for translated content to ensure visibility in target markets
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) for organizing and delivering translations
• Understanding of cryptocurrency terminology and concepts to ensure accurate translation of specialized content
• Ability to adapt writing style to suit different audiences, from technical users to general consumers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field
• Industry certification in translation (e.g., ATA, CATT) preferred but not required
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a focus on accuracy
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple translation projects simultaneously
• Ability to provide feedback on translation processes to improve efficiency and quality
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address translation challenges and ensure project success
• Proficiency in using translation management systems (TMS) for project coordination
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency market trends and regulatory environments
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision while maintaining professional standards
