Job Description
As a Blockchain Ecosystem Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research on public blockchain ecosystems and mining mechanisms. Your role will involve tracking the latest technological trends and innovations in mainstream public chains such as Ethereum, Solana, and BSC. You will perform in-depth research on key sectors including DeFi, Layer2 solutions, cross-chain bridges, and MEV, producing comprehensive industry analysis reports and project evaluations. Additionally, you will study mining economic models (Tokenomics), analyze staking mechanisms, liquidity incentives, and Gas economics to provide strategic recommendations for project design. You will identify promising early-stage ecosystem projects, conduct fundamental due diligence (team background, funding status, competitor analysis, risk assessment), and prepare structured evaluation reports. Your insights will contribute to the company's public chain ecosystem strategy and support product and technical teams in their research directions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on public blockchain ecosystems and mining mechanisms, tracking technological advancements in chains like Ethereum, Solana, and BSC.
- Perform in-depth analysis of DeFi, Layer2, cross-chain bridges, and MEV sectors, delivering industry reports and project evaluations.
- Study Tokenomics, including staking mechanisms, liquidity incentives, and Gas economics, to advise on economic model design.
- Identify high-potential early-stage projects, conducting due diligence on team background, funding, competition, and risks.
- Support the company's public chain ecosystem strategy and provide research direction for product and technical teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in blockchain industry research, with familiarity in Web3 sectors like DeFi, Infra, and GameFi.
- Deep understanding of public chain architectures, consensus mechanisms, and Token economic models.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills, capable of independent project due diligence.
- Experience in quantitative analysis/on-chain data mining or strong English proficiency to track global trends is a plus.
