Job Description
The Senior Community Operations Manager (Trading Focus/KOL Operations) will be responsible for developing and executing professional trading content strategies, deeply engaging with trading-focused Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and implementing refined operational activities to drive user growth, retention, and trading conversion. This role involves building and managing global Chinese and English communities across platforms like Telegram, Discord, and WeChat, ensuring 24/7 human support and emergency response capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Professional Trading Content Creation: Develop market-relevant trading strategy analyses, market interpretations, fee comparisons, and arbitrage opportunity insights to enhance community professionalism and retain advanced traders.
- Deep Collaboration with Trading KOLs: Design mechanisms (e.g., rebate programs, strategy co-creation, liquidity support) to convert KOLs' private traffic into active platform traders.
- Precision Trading Campaigns: Lead trading competitions, simulated challenges, and copy-trading events while ensuring anti-fraud measures and compliance.
- Channel Development & Governance: Establish and optimize Telegram/Discord communities with SOPs, access controls, FAQs, and pinned content.
- 24/7 Customer Support: Implement shift/outsourcing solutions (SLA, scheduling, handover, QA) for real-time query resolution and crisis management.
- WeChat Community & KOL Partnerships: Expand KOL networks, structure tiered WeChat groups (by region/theme), and organize AMAs/offline events.
- Community Content & Activities: Align content (anti-scam/risk alerts) and campaigns (airdrops/task events) with product launches and trading initiatives.
- User Support Systems: Integrate ticketing tools (Zendesk/Intercom), categorize issues, and maintain knowledge bases.
- Security & Compliance: Combat spam/phishing via bot filters, verification protocols, and regional legal alignment.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Share user insights with product, trading, risk, and marketing teams to drive iterative improvements.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English and Chinese with 1+ years in community operations (crypto/finance preferred) and hands-on Telegram/Discord/WeChat management.
- Trading literacy: Understand spot/contract basics, order types, fees, and risk disclosures to engage traders professionally.
- Live trading experience preferred: Firsthand understanding of trader pain points (e.g., slippage, funding rates) from CEX/DEX participation.
- KOL monetization expertise: Ability to design win-win partnerships (rebates, paid groups) beyond basic sponsorships.
- Data-driven mindset: Analyze community metrics (click-through rates) and trading data (deposit conversion) to prove ROI.
- KOL network or background is a strong plus.
- Adaptability to 24/7 shift models or outsourced team oversight with strong service ethos.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at top exchanges/wallets/public chains or multilingual community management.
- CEX/DEX operational knowledge (LP pools, perpetual contracts).
- Active trader profile: Familiarity with Binance/OKX copy-trading or Uniswap LP provisioning.
- Existing mid-tier trading KOL connections (contract signalers, analysts).
