Job Description
This role is pivotal in shaping and maintaining a thriving online community through strategic moderation, content creation, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and management of Discord moderators, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their duties. Additionally, this position involves crafting engaging content for platforms like Twitter, developing newsletters, and managing community interactions across both Discord and Twitter. The candidate will also lead marketing campaigns, coordinating with mailing systems, influencers, and analyzing Twitter statistics to drive growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and manage a team of Discord moderators, fostering a positive and productive work environment through motivation and guidance.
- Create comprehensive resources and training materials to help moderators understand the product, handle challenging situations such as hate speech or FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt), and maintain community standards.
- Develop and execute content strategies for Twitter threads and newsletters, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and audience engagement goals.
- Actively manage and grow the community on Twitter and Discord, including monitoring interactions, resolving conflicts, and organizing community events.
- Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, coordinating with email marketing platforms, influencer partnerships, and leveraging Twitter analytics to optimize campaign performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align community management efforts with broader business objectives and ensure consistent communication across all channels.
- Stay updated on industry trends and community dynamics to adapt strategies and improve user experience continuously.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in community management, moderation, or marketing, with a strong track record of driving engagement and growth.
