Job Description
The Senior/Mid-Level DevOps Engineer (Overseas-based) will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company's critical business systems and cloud infrastructure. This role requires hands-on expertise in cloud platforms and core technologies to ensure high availability and performance of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily deployment, maintenance, and high-availability assurance for core business systems across cloud platforms (AWS/Aliyun/Tencent Cloud) and foundational services (Kubernetes, Docker, Nginx, MySQL, Redis, Kafka).
- Participate in system capacity evaluation, performance tuning, and disaster recovery drills to ensure service stability.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated building, testing, deployment, and rollback processes.
- Configure and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/OpenSearch).
- Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with teams on troubleshooting and optimization.
- Document operational procedures and promote standardization of DevOps processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field (full-time program required, no associate degrees), with 3+ years of DevOps experience in large-scale internet or cloud platforms.
- Proficient in Linux systems and at least one scripting language (Shell/Python/Go).
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Familiar with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.
- Practical experience with public clouds (AWS, Aliyun, GCP, Azure).
- Strong communication skills and teamwork spirit with problem-solving capabilities.
- Preference for candidates based in Singapore/Malaysia; other non-mainland locations considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in global network acceleration and security deployment on enterprise cloud.
- Background in AI platform/server deployment and maintenance.
