Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Numerical Planning (Game Balance/Numerical Designer) to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to design and optimize the economic system within our games, ensuring the balance and sustainable development of virtual assets and currency. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing user participation and retention rates through thoughtful numerical design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and adjust the numerical system for Web3 event products, including event points, prize settings at all levels, lottery explosion rates, fission invitation settings, NFT-related numerical settings, in-game and on-chain asset settings
- Ensure game balance and playability through meticulous numerical design
- Collaborate closely with development and design teams to create and implement numerical design solutions
- Analyze player data and feedback to continuously optimize game balance
- Participate in balance testing with game content and adjust values based on player activity behavior and market changes
- Design and adjust the virtual economy system (including currency, props, rewards) according to the game's operational strategy
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for numerical planning to facilitate team understanding and collaboration
Additional Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will also monitor the long-term impact of numerical changes on game economy, propose innovative solutions to enhance player experience, and stay updated with industry trends in game economy design. You will be expected to work closely with data analysts to interpret player behavior patterns and translate them into meaningful numerical adjustments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in numerical design for games, particularly in economic systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent understanding of game balance principles and player psychology
- Experience with Web3 game mechanics and blockchain-based assets
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining clear design specifications
- Passion for gaming and understanding of current market trends
