Job Description
We are hiring for SevenX Ventures Portfolio Company Curio Executive Planning (i.e. Game Product Manager) for Duper, a five-player social chess game that emphasizes social gameplay and allows for real money betting. The gameplay combines elements from Teamfight, Power Diplomacy, and Texas Hold'em. The company has secured nearly $10 million in seed funding from renowned overseas investors like Bain Capital. Our team consists of industry experts from top companies such as Miyou, ByteDance, Lilith, and Qiyuan World, with educational backgrounds from Yale, Berkeley, University of California, and Nantah University.
About the Game
Duper is already playable on the web platform and has attracted its first batch of enthusiastic seed users. The core gameplay is well-developed, but extended gameplay, multi-terminal UI/UX, community features, guidance systems, and commercialization modules are still in early stages. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and project management of the entire game from its current stage to full-scale development (1 to 100).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance extended gameplay, UI/UX, community features, and monetization strategies.
- Drive innovation in social and strategic gameplay to retain and grow the user base.
- Ensure seamless integration of real-money betting features while maintaining compliance and user trust.
- Analyze player feedback and data to refine game mechanics and improve user engagement.
Job Requirements
- Passion for strategy games and a deep understanding of social gameplay mechanics.
- Proven experience in game product management or executive planning, preferably in the strategy or social gaming sector.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple development streams.
- Creative mindset with a focus on user experience and monetization strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with a team of industry experts.
