Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain industry and event databases, regularly researching and adding new events as they are announced.
• Create and maintain an events calendar, ensuring all project needs are tracked and met in collaboration with the Events Manager.
• Create content for PR releases and maintain communication with vendors and media regarding PR plans and project milestones before, during, and after events.
• Research and add regional and global media vendors to meet potential project needs.
• Coordinate discovery calls with event organizers to identify earned and sponsored opportunities, and prepare summary briefs for internal and client review.
• Pitch organizers for earned event speaking opportunities and prepare key messaging briefs and media training as needed.
• Assist the Events Manager in negotiating sponsorships for clients.
• Collaborate with the client services team and Events VP to develop scalable event marketing practices.
• Act as a liaison between the Events Manager and event organizers, attendees, clients, venues, suppliers, producers, and vendors to communicate project details and deadlines.
• Provide on-site support and travel as needed for large event activations.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in event coordination, PR, or related fields.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to research and analyze industry trends and event opportunities.
• Experience in media relations and vendor management.
• Willingness to travel and provide on-site support for events.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
