Job Description
The Product Marketer will be responsible for defining and executing marketing strategies to drive product awareness, adoption, and engagement. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling messaging, develop marketing assets, and support sales enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Positioning and Messaging
- Define and articulate the value proposition for Figment’s products and services, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Create consistent and impactful messaging frameworks that highlight Figment’s unique advantages.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities and refine positioning.
- Content Development and Delivery
- Develop and maintain product marketing assets, including product documentation, user guides, presentations, FAQs, and one-pagers for sales enablement.
- Create explainer videos, webinars, and onboarding materials for customers.
- Collaborate with demand generation teams to create content for campaigns, including blog posts, white papers, and social media assets.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy
- Partner with product and marketing teams to plan and execute product launches, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and prepared.
- Develop campaigns to drive awareness, adoption, and engagement for new and existing products.
- Monitor and analyze product adoption rates and feedback to adjust strategies as needed.
- Sales Enablement and Customer Support
- Work closely with the sales team to create tools and training materials that help close deals effectively.
- Support customer success by producing educational resources to address common questions and improve customer experience.
- Provide ongoing training to internal teams on product updates, new features, and key benefits.
- Metrics and Insights
- Measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives (e.g., adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and campaign performance).
- Use data and customer feedback to refine messaging, materials, and product positioning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging.
- Experience developing marketing collateral and sales enablement materials.
- Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
