Job Description
The Product Marketer will be responsible for defining and executing marketing strategies to drive product awareness, adoption, and engagement. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling messaging, develop marketing assets, and support sales enablement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product Positioning and Messaging
    • Define and articulate the value proposition for Figment’s products and services, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
    • Create consistent and impactful messaging frameworks that highlight Figment’s unique advantages.
    • Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities and refine positioning.
  • Content Development and Delivery
    • Develop and maintain product marketing assets, including product documentation, user guides, presentations, FAQs, and one-pagers for sales enablement.
    • Create explainer videos, webinars, and onboarding materials for customers.
    • Collaborate with demand generation teams to create content for campaigns, including blog posts, white papers, and social media assets.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy
    • Partner with product and marketing teams to plan and execute product launches, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and prepared.
    • Develop campaigns to drive awareness, adoption, and engagement for new and existing products.
    • Monitor and analyze product adoption rates and feedback to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Sales Enablement and Customer Support
    • Work closely with the sales team to create tools and training materials that help close deals effectively.
    • Support customer success by producing educational resources to address common questions and improve customer experience.
    • Provide ongoing training to internal teams on product updates, new features, and key benefits.
  • Metrics and Insights
    • Measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives (e.g., adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and campaign performance).
    • Use data and customer feedback to refine messaging, materials, and product positioning.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging.
  • Experience developing marketing collateral and sales enablement materials.
  • Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
