Job Description
Liquid Collective is seeking a skilled blockchain developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of its liquid staking protocol and DAO. This role will involve designing, developing, testing, and releasing Ethereum smart contracts, ensuring robust security practices are embedded throughout the lifecycle. The candidate will also be responsible for building and deploying automation tools to streamline protocol operations and monitoring, leveraging both internal and external platforms like Tenderly. Additionally, they will collaborate with leading security teams to support smart contract audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and release Ethereum smart contracts for Liquid Collective’s liquid staking protocol and DAO, prioritizing security and scalability.
- Build and deploy tooling to automate protocol operations and monitoring, utilizing internal systems and external solutions such as Tenderly for enhanced efficiency.
- Support and coordinate with top-tier security teams to conduct thorough smart contract audits, identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring remediation.
- Define and document best practices for smart contract development, including architectural design, coding standards, testing protocols, documentation frameworks, release strategies, monitoring/alerting mechanisms, and security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical implementation and business objectives.
- Stay updated on emerging blockchain technologies and security threats to continuously improve protocols and practices.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in Ethereum smart contract development with a strong focus on security and decentralization.
- Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering high-quality, auditable code.
- Proficiency in Solidity and other blockchain development tools, along with experience in testing frameworks like Truffle or Hardhat.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools for blockchain deployments and monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate security risks and optimize protocol performance.
- Passion for open-source development and community-driven projects, with a commitment to transparency and innovation.
