Job Description
This role is pivotal in shaping and sustaining the human resources function for a rapidly expanding organization. The incumbent will oversee all aspects of People operations, including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Relations, Benefits, Compliance, Organizational Development, and Performance Management. The position requires proactive leadership to drive growth, ensure operational excellence, and align HR strategies with business objectives. It also involves fostering a collaborative and transparent culture in a remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR programs and processes to support organizational growth, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment initiatives, from role definition and sourcing to candidate evaluation, feedback coordination, and offer negotiation, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Design and execute employee retention strategies by identifying performance gaps, providing targeted coaching, and creating development opportunities for managers and staff.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting/Finance teams, external recruitment agencies, and hiring managers to streamline employee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management.
- Oversee payroll processing, records management, and the administration of incentive and bonus programs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Champion organizational culture initiatives that promote collaboration, transparency, and excellence, particularly in a remote-first work environment.
Job Requirements
- Proven expertise in HR operations with a strong track record in managing Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Employee Relations functions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders across departments and locations.
- Strong analytical abilities to identify HR challenges, develop data-driven solutions, and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency in HR software systems for recruitment, payroll, and performance management, with experience in cloud-based platforms preferred.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams, providing guidance on performance management practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of labor laws, compliance standards, and benefits administration to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in remote team management, including virtual onboarding processes and tools for maintaining engagement in distributed environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated success in scaling HR operations for growing organizations.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex HR challenges and optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems, with experience in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
