Job Description
The Social Media & Community Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and community engagement. This role requires a creative professional who can effectively communicate complex blockchain concepts in an accessible manner while maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement social media content calendars aligned with key milestones (testnet phases, mainnet launches, reward campaigns, tutorial releases, tokenomics updates). Create high-quality content (tweets, threads, visuals, GIFs, short videos) that clearly communicates AX's core features (zero gas fees, LP rewards, CEX-like UX). Monitor performance metrics (engagement rates, impressions, CTR) and optimize strategies based on data insights.
- Community Building: Manage and grow AX communities on Discord and Telegram, responding to user inquiries and gathering feedback. Organize interactive campaigns (polls, AMAs, quizzes, point-driven activities, referral challenges, ambassador spotlights) that reflect AX's gamified engagement approach.
- Brand Voice Development: Establish a professional yet approachable brand tone that simplifies complex topics. Position AX as a fair, transparent, high-performance platform aligned with community interests.
- Cross-Channel Coordination: Ensure consistency between social media posts, Medium blogs, press releases, tutorials (e.g., YouTube guides), and ecosystem announcements. Collaborate with designers to produce visual assets and educational materials.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors like EdgeX and Hyperliquid to identify successful strategies. Prepare monthly reports on competitor activities, emerging trends, and user sentiment.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience managing social media and community engagement, preferably in crypto/DeFi
- Deep understanding of perpetual DEX mechanisms, DeFi reward structures, and blockchain transaction dynamics
- Exceptional copywriting skills - concise, persuasive, brand-aligned, and adaptable for both technical and general audiences
- Track record of successful social media campaigns and community initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data tools to optimize content
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with gamification and reward systems (points, badges, leaderboards)
- Multimedia content creation skills (video editing, graphic design)
- Experience with influencer outreach and partnership programs
- Background in DeFi or perpetual trading platforms
