Job Description
Seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive technical assistance to colleagues, ensuring timely resolution of issues and inquiries. The role involves managing the entire IT onboarding process, including the setup and distribution of MacBooks and laptops for both onsite and remote employees. Responsibilities also include inventory management and procurement of devices, maintaining optimal stock levels for current and future organizational needs. The candidate will administer Kandji MDM solutions to secure and streamline MacBook device operations while overseeing critical software platforms such as Okta, Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise, Jira, and Notion. Additionally, the position requires operating Cisco Meraki dashboards for corporate WiFi access and network configurations, as well as occasional configuration of Linux and Windows systems to meet specific requirements. Support for audio-visual infrastructure in large on-site meetings, including Zoom interfaces, Soundcraft mixers, and Sennheiser microphones, is also essential. The role emphasizes automation of routine IT tasks to improve operational efficiency and accuracy, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges promptly. Continuous monitoring of IT trends is required to propose and implement innovative improvements that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive and reactive IT support to colleagues, prioritizing high-quality assistance for technical issues and inquiries.
  • Manage IT onboarding processes, including the setup and distribution of MacBooks and laptops for new onsite and remote employees, ensuring seamless integration into the workplace.
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement of laptops, maintaining accurate records and anticipating future needs to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Administer Kandji MDM solutions for MacBook devices, implementing security protocols and optimizing device management workflows.
  • Monitor and maintain software applications and services such as Okta, Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise, Jira, and Notion, ensuring their reliability and alignment with business requirements.
  • Operate Cisco Meraki dashboards to manage corporate WiFi access and configure network infrastructure, maintaining optimal connectivity and performance.
  • Occasionally configure Linux and Windows laptops to meet specific technical requirements, ensuring compatibility and functionality across systems.

Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding of MDM solutions (e.g., Kandji) and network infrastructure tools (e.g., Cisco Meraki), with hands-on implementation skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory systems and procurement processes, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and budget constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and explain technical solutions in non-technical terms.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment for large-scale meetings, with experience in event setup and support.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages to streamline repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving IT landscapes and propose scalable solutions for future growth.
