Job Description:
Position: Backend Tech Lead
- Technical Decision-Making & Architecture
- Responsible for technology selection and system architecture design to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Make balanced architectural trade-offs based on business development stages to avoid over-engineering.
- Product Delivery & Timeline Management
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to drive the full product lifecycle from requirement analysis to launch.
- Define clear development milestones and manage delivery pace while balancing quality and speed.
- Team Building & Engineering Culture
- Lead a 3–5 member R&D team by establishing clear coding standards and review mechanisms without micromanagement.
- Foster a proactive technical environment and promote engineering best practices and efficiency tools.
- Core Module Implementation
- Hands-on involvement or guidance in critical modules within domains like AI/Web3/Payment/Agentic Apps/Wallet.
- Deeply engage in technical challenges and key workflows to ensure feasible and evolvable solutions.
- Technical Risk & Data Quality
- Address production-level stability issues such as blockchain reorganization, payment reconciliation, and system monitoring.
- Establish risk identification and mitigation mechanisms to guarantee data consistency and system reliability.
Job Requirements:
- Strong Coding Skills
- Ability to write high-quality, maintainable code with sound architectural judgment (no blind trend-following).
- Mastery in at least one of Go/Rust/Java/TypeScript; additional language experience is a plus.
- Fast Learner & Adaptability
- No prior expertise required in all domains but must quickly grasp new areas like AI, blockchain, or payments without repetitive explanations.
- Technical Judgment
- Provide clear technical recommendations amid ambiguous requirements, understanding what to pursue and what to avoid.
- Daily AI Tool Usage
- Beyond "heard of Cursor," actively use AI for coding, refactoring, test generation, and documentation daily.
- Believe in the Engineer + AI > Manual efficiency model and drive team adoption.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Web3/payment/wallet systems.
- Deep knowledge of Agentic Applications or AI-assisted development tools.
- Contributions to open-source projects or public technical blogs/speaking engagements.
