Job Description
Position Title: Offline Event Operations Specialist
- Plan and execute company offline events (conferences, meetups, etc.) to ensure event effectiveness and brand exposure
- Manage the entire event process, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor coordination, material preparation, and on-site execution
- Collaborate with marketing, business development, and external partners to ensure consistent event promotion, content, and brand tone
- Monitor key event metrics (attendance rate, conversion rate, etc.) and conduct post-event analysis for continuous improvement
- Stay updated on industry event trends and identify high-quality resources to support future events
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive event strategies aligned with company objectives
- Coordinate logistics for events with 100+ attendees
- Create detailed event timelines and contingency plans
- Manage event budgets up to $50,000
- Produce post-event reports with actionable insights
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Event Management, Marketing, Communications or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of offline event experience, with preference for candidates with large conference or fintech/tech industry event experience
- Strong project management skills with ability to independently execute complex events
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, adaptable to fast-paced environments and business travel
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50% travel time)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid (online+offline) event formats
- Familiarity with event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.)
- Existing network of vendors and venues in major cities
- Basic graphic design skills for promotional materials
