Job Description
This role focuses on driving business expansion and market penetration in key international regions including Latin America, Nigeria, India, Pakistan, Russia, and Asia. The candidate will lead the development and implementation of strategic partnerships and agreements to enhance peer-to-peer (P2P) market share, user acquisition, revenue growth, and other performance indicators. Responsibilities include crafting localized strategies to support the adoption of blockchain-based ecosystems, such as Gamefi, NFT marketplaces, and DAO frameworks. The position also involves optimizing operational workflows across the business development team to improve productivity and efficiency. Additionally, the individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for both new and established products. A critical component of the role is organizing offline events and conferences to increase brand visibility and promote PearDAO's offerings in target markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic partnerships and agreements to expand P2P market penetration and achieve measurable growth in user acquisition, revenue, and other KPIs across Latin America, Nigeria, India, Pakistan, Russia, and Asia.
- Design and execute localized market entry strategies tailored to specific regions, ensuring seamless integration of crypto-based ecosystems like Gamefi, NFT marketplaces, and DAO structures.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, and regional teams to align business development goals with overall organizational objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and user behavior to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the blockchain space.
- Coordinate with international stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and execution of go-to-market strategies across diverse markets and geographies.
- Plan and execute offline events, conferences, and community engagement initiatives to strengthen brand presence and foster user interaction with PearDAO's products.
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership, highlighting progress toward business development targets and market expansion goals.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all partnership agreements and market activities adhere to regional regulations and standards.
- Identify and evaluate potential market expansion opportunities, including new regions or product lines, to diversify revenue streams and growth channels.
- Streamline internal processes within the business development team to improve operational efficiency and reduce time-to-market for new initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, market expansion, or partnership management within the blockchain or fintech industry, preferably in international markets.
- Strong understanding of crypto ecosystems, including decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, DAOs, and Gamefi, with hands-on experience in driving adoption and growth.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to design and execute effective market penetration strategies across diverse regions and cultures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and regional operations, to achieve business objectives.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional language (Spanish, French, or Hindi) to effectively communicate with international stakeholders and local teams.
- Experience in organizing and executing large-scale events, conferences, or community initiatives, with a track record of successful outcomes in the tech or blockchain sector.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate market data, user behavior, and business performance metrics to inform data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of international business regulations, compliance frameworks, and legal requirements to ensure all market activities are lawful and ethical.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate strategies, results, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results within tight deadlines and complex market environments.
- Preferred background in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, or related fields, with a demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into business strategies.
- Experience with SaaS or decentralized platforms, understanding of product lifecycle management, and ability to align business development with product innovation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to guide junior professionals and ensure successful execution of market strategies across global teams.
