Job Description
Our company is currently seeking to hire experienced moderators based in Vietnam to support our merchant community. As a moderator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our platform by monitoring and managing merchant accounts. This position requires a strong understanding of e-commerce operations and the ability to enforce community guidelines effectively. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues related to merchant compliance, ensuring all business activities adhere to our policies and legal standards. This role is essential for fostering a trustworthy environment where both merchants and users can engage confidently.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor merchant accounts for violations of platform policies, including but not limited to fraud, spamming, and unethical business practices.
- Investigate and resolve disputes between merchants and users, providing clear and fair solutions to maintain platform harmony.
- Conduct regular audits of merchant data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve moderation tools and streamline the review process for merchant activities.
- Provide feedback to merchants on policy violations, guiding them toward corrective actions while maintaining a professional tone.
- Document all moderation actions and maintain detailed records for compliance reporting and internal audits.
- Stay updated on local regulations and market trends in Vietnam to ensure merchant operations align with regional standards.
- Communicate with users to address concerns about merchant behavior, promoting transparency and trust in our ecosystem.
Job Requirements
- Native or fluent proficiency in Vietnamese, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English for international collaboration.
- Proven experience in moderation roles within e-commerce platforms or similar environments, with a focus on merchant management.
- Deep understanding of digital commerce practices, including payment systems, logistics, and customer service protocols.
- Knowledge of legal frameworks governing online business in Vietnam, such as consumer protection laws and data privacy regulations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining a proactive approach to identifying risks.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess complex merchant activities and determine appropriate actions.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all moderation decisions are accurate and consistent with company policies.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to address urgent merchant issues promptly.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and data analysis software is a plus.
- Passion for fostering a safe and ethical online marketplace, with a commitment to continuous improvement in moderation practices.
Work Environment
This remote position requires regular interaction with global teams and merchant stakeholders. You will work primarily through digital platforms and communication tools, with occasional in-person meetings in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi. The role involves handling sensitive information and making timely decisions to protect both merchant and user interests.
