Job Description
The role is responsible for the overall operational strategy and business planning of the exchange, setting phased operational goals and driving their implementation, with accountability for core business metrics such as trading users, trading volume, revenue, activity, and retention. This position oversees spot trading, contracts, user growth, campaigns, and platform operations, continuously optimizing the full lifecycle of users from registration, deposit, trading, to retention. Based on market trends, user behavior, and operational data, the candidate will formulate growth strategies to enhance trading user scale, activity, and user value. Additionally, the role involves planning and executing key operational and growth projects, establishing cost, risk, and ROI evaluation mechanisms, and conducting regular business reviews and strategy optimizations. The candidate will also manage the operations team, including goal decomposition, task allocation, process management, and team development, to improve overall delivery efficiency. Collaboration with product, technology, marketing, BD, and risk control teams is essential to drive key business initiatives and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the exchange's operational strategy and business planning.
- Oversee spot trading, contracts, user growth, campaigns, and platform operations.
- Optimize user lifecycle management from registration to retention.
- Formulate growth strategies based on market trends, user behavior, and data insights.
- Lead key operational and growth projects with cost, risk, and ROI evaluation.
- Manage the operations team, including goal setting, task allocation, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, tech, marketing, BD, risk control) to drive business results.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in internet/Web3/CEX operations, with 3+ years in team management or business leadership.
- Prior experience in CEX platform operations, with expertise in spot/contract trading and user operations (experience with mainstream trading platforms is a plus).
- Strong business acumen with direct accountability for core metrics like trading users, volume, revenue, and retention.
- Excellent data analysis and strategic planning skills to identify issues and drive improvements.
- Proven team management and cross-department collaboration abilities.
- Sensitivity to Crypto market trends and user needs, with a results-driven and ownership mindset.
- Preferred: Experience as a CEX operations lead/director, or success in building operational systems from scratch and achieving significant user/trading growth.
