Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Diligence and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive operational and financial diligence on accelerator applicants, assessing key factors such as team, product, technology, market position, and growth potential.
• Thesis Development: Assist the Investment Manager in developing quarterly investment theses by collaborating with research leads, program managers, and subject matter experts.
• Recruitment Process Management: Oversee logistics for recruiting activities, including preparing investment materials, coordinating investment committees, and supporting contract negotiations.
• Founder Relations: Manage relationships with prospective founders, ensuring clear communication of Outlier’s value proposition and a smooth recruitment experience.
• Investment Strategy: Formulate and refine investment perspectives on specific sectors and companies to justify high-return opportunities.
• On-Chain Activity: Monitor disruptive technology trends in the market to create targeted outreach strategies and market maps.
• Market Research: Support the Investment Manager in conducting sector-specific research across Web3 domains like DeFi, gaming, infrastructure, and NFTs.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in investment diligence, financial analysis, or venture capital.
• Strong understanding of Web3 technologies, including DeFi, NFTs, and blockchain infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable investment insights.
• Experience in managing recruitment or investment processes is a plus.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
