Job Description
This position is responsible for the comprehensive operation, maintenance, and optimization of business systems to ensure stable and efficient system performance. The candidate will manage daily system monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution, while also proactively identifying potential risks and inefficiencies within the system architecture. Key tasks include maintaining system availability, conducting regular performance evaluations, and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves creating and maintaining detailed documentation for system operations, technical procedures, and maintenance processes to support team collaboration and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of business systems, including system monitoring, configuration management, and routine performance tuning to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Respond promptly to production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to resolve system failures or bottlenecks.
  • Proactively identify system vulnerabilities, performance issues, and operational inefficiencies through continuous evaluation and monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute system optimization strategies, such as improving scalability, security, and resource utilization.
  • Document all system operations, maintenance procedures, and technical specifications in a clear and organized manner for internal reference and compliance purposes.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend and implement innovative solutions for system enhancement.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate system status, incident updates, and maintenance schedules effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols, data protection standards, and regulatory requirements in system operations and maintenance activities.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees or certifications in system administration or IT operations.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in system operation and maintenance, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment with complex IT infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows server environments, including system configuration, user management, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall configurations, to support system connectivity and security.
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) for monitoring, backup, and performance optimization tasks.
  • Skilled in using monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus) and log analysis platforms (e.g., ELK Stack, Splunk) to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document technical processes and present system status updates to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001) to ensure operational best practices.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) to streamline repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
