Job Description
This role is for a dynamic Portfolio Management Analyst/Associate to support the growth and development of our investment portfolio. The ideal candidate will work closely with portfolio companies and their founders to provide strategic guidance and operational assistance across key business functions. The position requires a proactive approach to managing relationships, analyzing data, and executing initiatives that drive value for both the portfolio and the organization. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of early-stage startups in the blockchain and fintech sectors while gaining hands-on experience in portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to portfolio companies and founders across functional areas such as hiring, go-to-market (GTM) strategies, financial operations, and product development
  • Maintain detailed internal meeting notes and records of portfolio companies' latest developments, needs, and strategic priorities
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies, including creating news articles, building community engagement, managing KOL (key opinion leader) relationships, and coordinating with media outlets
  • Monitor token vesting schedules and listing timelines, while liaising with Fund Admin for accurate monthly holdings reporting
  • Utilize data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python to generate actionable insights and present findings through clear data visualizations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builder communities, service providers (including news agencies, KOLs, exchanges, etc.), and industry stakeholders
  • Travel extensively across multiple Asia-Pacific countries including China, Singapore, Vietnam, and others to engage with portfolio companies and partners
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and result-driven reports directly to the Head of Platform, ensuring timely communication of key metrics and progress
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in portfolio management, preferably in the blockchain or fintech industry
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Python, etc.)
  • Excellent communication abilities, including both written and verbal skills, to effectively convey insights to stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in creating and executing GTM strategies, with a track record of successful community building initiatives
  • Knowledge of token economics and blockchain fundamentals is a plus
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills preferred for international engagement
  • Availability for frequent travel across Asia-Pacific regions to support portfolio companies
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Experience with Fund Admin processes and monthly holdings reporting is advantageous
  • Proficiency in using project management tools to track progress and deliverables
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle ambiguity with creativity
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and partners
Travel Expectations

Candidates must be prepared for extensive travel across multiple Asia-Pacific countries including China, Singapore, Vietnam, and other emerging markets. This includes regular visits to portfolio companies for on-site support, meetings with industry partners, and participation in regional events. The ability to manage travel logistics and maintain productivity while on the road is essential.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Head of Platform, requiring regular communication and updates on portfolio company progress, strategic initiatives, and operational challenges. The Analyst/Associate will be expected to provide timely and accurate insights to support decision-making at the executive level. This includes preparing comprehensive reports, presenting data-driven recommendations, and maintaining transparency in all communications.
