Job Description
This role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of core software systems that power our AI products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping the technical direction of our platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features that align with business goals, and driving innovation in the field of generative AI. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to ensure technical solutions meet user needs and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to define and implement product roadmap enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user feedback
- Lead full lifecycle development of features or projects, including requirements analysis, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to understand the 'what' and 'why' behind new initiatives, conducting market research and competitive analysis
- Research and present technical solutions with varying trade-offs between performance, scalability, and development timelines
- Continuously evaluate and optimize our existing tech-stack, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing new technologies
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems for our AI applications, ensuring high availability and performance for growing user base
- Collaborate with QA engineers to design test strategies and ensure product quality through rigorous testing processes
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and maintain best practices for software development
- Monitor system performance metrics and implement optimization strategies to improve user experience
- Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in our product offerings
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a software engineer with a strong background in full-stack development and AI technologies
- Expertise in Python, JavaScript, and related programming languages with a deep understanding of machine learning frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) for scalable deployments
- Strong knowledge of web development technologies including REST APIs, GraphQL, and modern frontend frameworks
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously with clear prioritization
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering complex technical solutions on time
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with product, design, and business teams
- Experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code concepts for automated deployment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a focus on rapid iteration and innovation
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed technical decisions
- Experience with image generation technologies and deep learning models for creative AI applications
