Job Description
This role involves overseeing the daily operations of funds while collaborating with various external partners. The position offers exposure to all aspects of fund management and requires a detail-oriented professional who can streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day fund operations with different vendors and service providers (banks, custodians, fund administrators, legal advisors, tax advisors, auditors, etc)
- Handle regulatory filings, annual tax and audit activities, and maintain internal databases on all relevant operational files and records
- Assist and develop investor relations activities such as onboarding, ad-hoc email campaigns, and quarterly newsletters
- Identify and lead projects to streamline internal processes and gain operational efficiencies
- Report in a clear, concise and result-driven manner directly to the COO and General Partner of the firm
- Develop relationships with portfolio companies to identify and support their ongoing growth needs
- Manage expenses and make prompt payment of bills and employee reimbursements
Additional Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Experience in financial operations and investor relations is highly valued.
