Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the facilitation and coordination of governance processes for The Graph, including documentation management, meeting coordination, and administrative support for The Graph Council.
• Support the GIP technical governance process by ensuring proposals are reviewed, evaluated, and implemented in alignment with project goals.
• Facilitate community input through structured engagement mechanisms, ensuring diverse perspectives are considered in governance decisions.
• Coordinate internal operations within the Foundation, including cross-functional collaboration with core developer teams and support for business and operational activities.
• Manage project timelines and release management processes for core developers, working closely with the Technical Program Manager and other project managers.
• Oversee the execution of internal initiatives, ensuring they are completed end-to-end from planning to delivery.
• Track progress, set milestones, and monitor outputs for all initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead coordination between foundation contributors and external stakeholders, including grantees, contractors, DAOs, and governance participants.
• Act as a central point of contact for governance-related queries and ensure transparency in decision-making processes.
• Develop and maintain governance documentation, including minutes, agendas, and action items, to ensure clarity and accountability.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in governance processes, preferably within blockchain or decentralized technology ecosystems.
• Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing complex projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration with stakeholders and document governance activities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives while collaborating with technical and operational teams.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum, to manage release cycles and project timelines.
• Experience with technical documentation tools and platforms to create and maintain governance records.
• Understanding of web3 technologies and decentralized systems to contribute effectively to The Graph's governance framework.
• Ability to engage with diverse communities and stakeholders, including DAOs and governance participants, to gather and integrate feedback.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in governance processes and ensure smooth project execution.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines for governance and operational activities.
