Job Description
This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth by formulating and executing business development and sales strategies specifically tailored for SaaS solutions in the Singapore and APAC markets. The ideal candidate will lead the identification of new business opportunities, build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, and ensure long-term partnerships with both new and existing clients. Additionally, the position requires seamless collaboration with internal teams to align sales efforts with company goals and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development and sales strategies for SaaS products, focusing on market expansion in Singapore and the broader APAC region.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential business opportunities, analyze industry trends, and prioritize high-impact targets within institutional clients.
  • Build and manage a diversified sales pipeline by engaging with key decision-makers, negotiating deals, and closing contracts to meet revenue objectives.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through regular communication, personalized service, and proactive problem-solving to ensure long-term retention.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, legal, and compliance teams to ensure alignment in product positioning, promotional campaigns, and contract terms.
  • Provide strategic insights to optimize sales processes, streamline operations, and enhance customer satisfaction across all business segments.
  • Monitor market dynamics and competitor activities to adapt strategies dynamically and maintain a competitive edge in the SaaS industry.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with a preference for postgraduate qualifications.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, or a similar role within the SaaS industry, preferably in the APAC region.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market data, identify growth opportunities, and develop actionable strategies for business expansion.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one local language (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil) to facilitate cross-cultural interactions and client relations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a track record of achieving sales targets and building sustainable client relationships.
  • Knowledge of SaaS business models, pricing strategies, and customer acquisition techniques to drive revenue growth.

  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations and legal frameworks in Singapore and APAC markets to ensure smooth operations.
