Job Description
As a Financial Platform Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies for financial platforms, covering functional, API, performance, and security testing dimensions. Your role will involve leveraging AI testing tools to enhance testing efficiency through intelligent test case generation, defect prediction, and automated script creation. You will focus on testing core financial workflows (payments, deposits/withdrawals, investment purchases/redemptions) to ensure zero errors in monetary operations. Additionally, you will design and maintain automated testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines, conduct performance testing for high-concurrency scenarios, and participate in requirement and test case reviews to drive product quality improvements from a testing perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test solutions for financial platforms across functional, API, performance, and security domains
- Utilize AI-powered testing tools to improve testing efficiency through intelligent test case generation and automation
- Ensure flawless operation of core financial transactions including payments, deposits/withdrawals, and investment processing
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct performance and load testing for high-traffic scenarios, analyzing bottlenecks and preparing test reports
- Participate in requirement analysis and test case reviews to enhance product quality
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of testing experience with full project lifecycle management
- Proficiency in AI testing tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor) for test case generation and script writing
- Strong skills in API automation testing (Postman/JMeter/RestAssured)
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter/Gatling/Locust)
- Advanced MySQL skills for complex data validation and reconciliation
- Knowledge of middleware testing (Redis, message queues)
- Experience in financial/payment system testing including transaction validation and idempotency testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing AI-assisted testing solutions (LLM-based test generation, smart regression analysis)
- Programming skills in Python/Java for test automation
- Security testing knowledge (SQL injection, XSS, privilege escalation)
- Experience with Kubernetes testing environments and log analysis
- Mobile app testing experience (iOS/Android compatibility)
