Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development professional to drive institutional client growth in the EMEA region. This role focuses on building strategic relationships, understanding institutional needs, and executing sales strategies within the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Building Relationships: Leverage existing relationships and establish new connections with institutional investors, financial institutions, and integration partners to create business opportunities. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Customer Focus: Develop a deep understanding of institutional clients' needs and pain points to design tailored solutions. Build relationships with family offices, hedge funds, asset managers, and other financial institutions.
- Sales Effectiveness: Execute regional sales strategies, meet/exceed KPIs, and manage outreach campaigns. Qualify prospects and oversee the end-to-end sales process in Salesforce, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Compliance and Regulation: Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with institutional client requirements.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with marketing, research, engineering, and product teams to align offerings with client needs.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain expertise in cryptocurrency and blockchain, particularly Proof-of-Stake networks, and understand EMEA market regulations and trends.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales within financial services, preferably in cryptocurrency/blockchain.
- Strong network of institutional clients (family offices, hedge funds, asset managers).
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce for managing sales pipelines.
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets and Proof-of-Stake networks.
- Knowledge of EMEA regulatory landscapes and market trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
