Job Description
As the Exchange Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operational strategy and business planning of the exchange. Your key duties include setting phased operational goals and ensuring their successful implementation, while being accountable for core business metrics such as user base, trading volume, revenue, activity, and retention rates.
You will coordinate various business segments including spot trading, contracts, user growth, marketing campaigns, and platform operations, continuously optimizing the user lifecycle from registration, deposit, trading to retention. Based on market trends, user behavior, and operational data, you will develop growth strategies to expand the trading user base, enhance trading activity, and maximize user value.
You will lead the planning and execution of key operational and growth projects, establishing evaluation mechanisms for campaign costs, risks, and ROI, while conducting regular business reviews and strategy optimizations. Additionally, you will manage the operations team, including goal decomposition, task allocation, process management, and team development to improve overall delivery efficiency.
Collaborating with product, technology, marketing, business development, and risk control teams, you will drive the implementation of critical business initiatives and be accountable for operational projects and final business outcomes.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess 5+ years of experience in cryptocurrency/Web3/CEX operations, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role. Prior experience with CEX platform operations is essential, with preference given to candidates with experience at major trading platforms.
You should demonstrate strong business acumen with proven track record of managing core metrics such as trading users, volume, fee income, activity, and retention. Excellent data analysis and strategic planning skills are required to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive improvements.
Effective team management and cross-departmental collaboration abilities are crucial, as you will need to coordinate with product, technology, marketing, and risk control teams. A deep understanding of the crypto market and user needs, along with a results-driven approach and strong ownership mentality, are essential for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as CEX Operations Director or similar leadership position
- Successful track record of building operations systems from scratch
- Demonstrated ability to significantly grow user base and trading volume
- Advanced knowledge of cryptocurrency derivatives and trading mechanisms
- Multilingual capabilities for global operations
Compensation & Benefits
We offer competitive compensation including 13-month salary and various holiday benefits. The salary range for this position is 8,000-15,000 USD equivalent per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
