Job Description
The role is responsible for the overall operational strategy and business planning of the exchange, setting phased operational goals and driving their implementation. Key accountability includes core business metrics such as trading users, trading volume, revenue, activity, and retention. Responsibilities include overseeing spot, futures, user growth, campaigns, and platform operations, continuously optimizing the full user lifecycle from registration, deposit, trading to retention. Based on market trends, user behavior, and operational data, the candidate will develop growth strategies to expand the trading user base, enhance trading activity, and maximize user value. The role also involves planning and executing key operational and growth projects, establishing cost, risk, and ROI evaluation mechanisms, and conducting regular business reviews and strategy optimizations. Additionally, the candidate will manage the operations team, including goal decomposition, task allocation, process management, and team development to improve overall delivery efficiency. Collaboration with product, technology, marketing, BD, and risk control teams is essential to drive key business initiatives and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement exchange-wide operational strategies and business plans
- Set and achieve phased operational targets for core metrics (users, volume, revenue, etc.)
- Oversee spot, futures, user growth, campaigns, and platform operations
- Optimize user lifecycle management from registration to retention
- Create data-driven growth strategies to expand user base and trading activity
- Lead key operational projects with cost/risk/ROI evaluation frameworks
- Manage operations team including goal-setting, task allocation, and performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, tech, marketing and risk teams
Job Requirements
- 5+ years crypto/Web3/CEX operations experience, 3+ years managing teams
- Proven CEX platform experience (spot, futures, user operations preferred)
- Strong business acumen with ownership of core trading metrics
- Excellent data analysis and strategic planning capabilities
- Effective team leadership and cross-department collaboration skills
- Deep understanding of crypto markets and user needs
- Results-driven with strong ownership mentality
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as CEX Operations Lead/Director
- Successful track record of building operations from scratch
- Demonstrated user and trading volume growth achievements
Compensation & Benefits
13-month salary structure with holiday benefits. Salary range: $8,000 - $15,000 USD equivalent monthly.
