Job Description
This position is responsible for overseeing the community management team and ensuring the effective implementation of community guidelines and policies. The supervisor will lead the mod team in maintaining a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all community members by enforcing rules consistently. Key duties include monitoring user-generated content, managing community interactions, and addressing any violations or concerns promptly. The role also involves collaborating with the PancakeSwap team to align on community strategies, sharing updates on platform developments, and ensuring all team members are well-informed about the latest policies. Additionally, the supervisor will be tasked with analyzing community feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions to enhance user experience and community growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the community management team to ensure adherence to community rules and policies.
- Review and approve user-submitted content, including posts, comments, and messages, to maintain quality and appropriateness.
- Monitor and moderate conversations in community chat platforms, forums, and social media channels.
- Identify and remove spam, harassment, hate speech, or other inappropriate behavior while preserving legitimate discussions.
- Respond to community members' questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Document and report serious violations, security threats, or policy breaches to higher management for appropriate action.
- Develop and update community guidelines based on evolving needs and user behavior patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve community engagement strategies and resolve complex issues.
- Track community metrics such as user activity, sentiment analysis, and incident reports to inform decision-making.
- Organize community events, contests, or campaigns to foster a sense of belonging and participation among members.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in community management, moderation, or similar roles with a strong track record of maintaining online communities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with users and team members.
- Strong understanding of community guidelines, content moderation policies, and platform-specific rules.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with high user engagement.
- Proficiency in using community management tools, chat moderation software, and analytics platforms.
- Experience with blockchain platforms or decentralized communities is a plus, particularly with PancakeSwap ecosystem knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address conflicts, resolve disputes, and handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve community goals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities, track progress, and report findings regularly.
- Knowledge of social media trends, user behavior analysis, and community growth strategies is preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to communicate in other languages as needed.
- Ability to create and maintain a positive community culture while enforcing rules impartially.
