Job Description
Position: Software System Design Engineer (Blockchain Security & Protocol Specialization)
This role focuses on designing and implementing secure blockchain systems through protocol analysis, security reinforcement, and continuous research. The engineer will work at the intersection of distributed systems and cryptographic security to build robust wallet architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Protocol Layer Analysis & Design: Conduct in-depth evaluation of mainstream blockchain protocols (Ethereum EVM, Cosmos SDK, Substrate, Solana etc.), redesign wallet systems based on security encryption mechanisms, and develop mitigation strategies for identified protocol-level vulnerabilities.
- System Security Reconstruction: Lead security-driven refactoring of existing systems, implement defense-in-depth architectures for critical modules, and reduce risks of single-point failures through security-first design principles.
- Research & Security Operations: Monitor cutting-edge blockchain attack vectors and defense mechanisms, transform research findings into system improvements. Conduct security audits for internal systems and open-source dependencies while driving vulnerability remediation.
Job Requirements
- Education: Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cryptography or Cybersecurity preferred
- Experience: 0-2 years professional experience (including fresh graduates)
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java/Go/Rust/C++ for systems programming
- Expertise in distributed systems design, concurrency models and performance optimization
- Comprehensive security knowledge including threat modeling, secure coding practices, penetration testing methodologies and supply chain security
- Soft Skills:
- Security-first mindset with systematic attack surface analysis capability
- Ability to translate complex security requirements into verifiable technical architectures
- Strong technical communication skills for driving security culture through documentation and knowledge sharing
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of at least one blockchain tech stack (networking, consensus, execution, storage layers)
- Expertise in smart contract security and common vulnerability patterns
- Practical knowledge of cryptographic applications including PKI, hash functions, ZKPs and threshold signatures
- Willingness to relocate internationally (visa sponsorship provided)
