Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Institutional Client Sales professional specializing in the cryptocurrency industry. Reporting directly to the Business Lead, you will be responsible for promoting our company's cryptocurrency products and services (such as trading, custody, derivatives, lending, etc.) to institutional clients, including hedge funds, family offices, asset management firms, and high-net-worth individuals. You will serve as a critical bridge between the company and institutional clients, driving business growth and fostering long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Development & Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and onboard institutional clients, including funds, financial institutions, corporate treasuries, etc. Deeply understand client needs and tailor cryptocurrency solutions (e.g., liquidity services, OTC trading, structured products). Maintain existing client relationships to enhance engagement and loyalty.
- Market & Industry Insights: Monitor cryptocurrency market trends, regulatory policies, and competitor activities to provide clients with professional market analysis. Organize client meetings, roadshows, or industry events to communicate the company’s value proposition.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with trading, risk management, product, and technology teams to ensure efficient execution of client requirements. Provide feedback to product teams to drive iterative improvements.
- Performance Goals: Achieve quarterly/annual sales targets (e.g., AUM, trading volume, revenue).
Job Requirements:
- Essential Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of institutional sales experience in the financial industry (preferably in cryptocurrency or traditional finance such as brokerage/banking/asset management). Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, derivatives) and familiarity with industry terminology and operations. Existing institutional client network (e.g., hedge funds, family offices) is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial products clearly in English (and Chinese if applicable).
- Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with compliance processes (KYC/AML) and institutional client onboarding standards. Prior experience working at cryptocurrency exchanges, custody platforms, or financial service firms.
