Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks for servers, including configuration management, performance optimization, data backup, and issue resolution across multiple platforms.
• Monitor and manage the company's existing IT systems to identify and resolve common operational issues, ensuring seamless user experience and system reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to develop, test, and deploy applications, maintaining version control and ensuring compatibility with production environments.
• Design and implement standardized operation and maintenance procedures, including incident response protocols, change management processes, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Conduct regular system audits to identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and areas for optimization, proposing and executing improvement solutions.
• Lead the creation of documentation for technical processes, system architecture, and troubleshooting guides to support team knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance system scalability, automate repetitive tasks, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Provide 24/7 technical support during system outages, coordinating with stakeholders to restore services and prevent future disruptions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously innovate and refine operational workflows.
• Document and analyze system performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making and resource allocation strategies.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in server administration, system maintenance, and application deployment, preferably in Exchange environments.
• Proficiency in managing Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange Server components, including mail routing, storage management, and security configurations.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, DNS, LDAP, and firewall rules to ensure system connectivity and data integrity.
• Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or Puppet for streamlining maintenance tasks and reducing manual intervention.
• Ability to analyze system logs, troubleshoot complex issues, and resolve them within SLA timelines while maintaining system availability.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers, IT staff, and business stakeholders during system upgrades and incident resolution.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS for hybrid infrastructure management and disaster recovery planning.
• Proficiency in using monitoring tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds, or Microsoft System Center for real-time system health tracking.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying potential system risks and implementing preventive measures.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting guides for internal use.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for managing application deployments and configuration changes.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption protocols, access controls, and compliance requirements for data protection.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively under time constraints and high-pressure situations.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate system performance data and recommend optimization strategies that improve user experience and reduce costs.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, track progress, and ensure timely completion of operational goals.
