Job Description
This position is for a Social Media Operations Intern to support the company's digital marketing efforts. The intern will be responsible for creating and publishing engaging content across various online platforms, including English community forums, blogs, and social media channels such as Discord, Twitter, Telegram, Medium, and WeChat official accounts. The role involves conducting word-of-mouth promotion through strategic interaction with users, leveraging trending topics for content creation, and driving fan user growth to enhance brand exposure. By deeply understanding the target audience's needs and product features, the intern will collaborate with UI and product teams to develop high-quality content that maximizes product value and user engagement. Additionally, the intern will establish and maintain product-related communities, particularly on Discord and Telegram, and implement community operation strategies to foster user growth, brand awareness, and active community participation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute content strategies for social media platforms, focusing on creating original articles, blog posts, and interactive content tailored to English-speaking audiences.
  • Monitor and analyze user engagement metrics to optimize content performance and improve brand visibility across channels like Discord, Twitter, Telegram, Medium, and WeChat official accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI, product, delivery) to identify content opportunities that align with business goals and user pain points.
  • Engage in community management by moderating discussions, responding to user inquiries, and fostering a positive brand image through consistent communication.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and user preferences, ensuring content remains relevant and impactful.
  • Support the creation of viral content by experimenting with different formats, such as videos, infographics, and interactive polls, to increase audience reach.
  • Track the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and provide actionable insights to refine future strategies for better user acquisition and retention.
Job Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a university program with a focus on marketing, communications, or digital media, preferably in a related field.
  • Proficient in English for content creation, editing, and communication, with basic knowledge of Chinese for WeChat official account operations.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Medium, and WeChat, and their unique user demographics and engagement patterns.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and optimize content for different platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and content optimization techniques to improve visibility and engagement metrics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and creative thinking.
  • Experience with content management tools (e.g., Canva, Google Analytics) and familiarity with social media analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Passion for digital marketing and a keen interest in building and maintaining online communities to drive brand loyalty.
