Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Native German (Switzerland) Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating various company materials between English/Chinese and German (Switzerland), ensuring high-quality localized content for our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately translate company products and business-related documents from English to German (Switzerland) or from Chinese to German (Switzerland) in a timely manner (monthly workload: approximately 120,000 source English words)
- Maintain and update the German (Switzerland) terminology database for products
- Conduct product localization to enhance user experience for German-speaking Swiss audiences
- Perform additional translation, localization, and related tasks as assigned by management
Job Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in German (Switzerland dialect) with excellent writing skills
- Professional fluency in English and/or Chinese (depending on source language requirements)
- Proven experience in professional translation, preferably in a technical or business context
- Strong understanding of localization principles and cultural adaptation
- Ability to handle large volumes of translation work while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy
- Familiarity with translation memory tools and terminology management systems
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field preferred
