Job Description
The role serves as the core leader for contract business operations, responsible for the management and operation of the platform's perpetual contract business. This position drives business growth through data analysis and operational strategies, overseeing key metrics such as trading volume, daily active users (DAU), open interest (OI), and business P&L. While not directly involved in system development, the role requires continuous optimization of business structure and user value through data insights, operational strategies, and campaign design to enhance overall trading scale and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Monitoring & P&L Analysis: Daily tracking and analysis of core operational metrics (trading volume, open interest, trading revenue, funding rate income/loss, DAU). Conduct business reviews and generate reports while identifying anomalies through drill-down analysis.
- User Lifecycle & Segmentation: Develop and optimize user lifecycle management, analyzing conversion funnels (registration → KYC → deposit → transfer → first trade → repeat trade → churn). Implement VIP/whale and general user strategies to improve retention.
- Campaign Strategy & ROI Optimization: Design and evaluate trading campaigns, forecasting impact (volume uplift, cost, break-even point) and post-campaign analysis to refine strategies.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy: Monitor competitors (Binance, Bybit, OKX) for new listings, fee policies, and incentives to adjust platform strategies accordingly.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in internet data operations, business analysis, or crypto exchange operations (derivatives experience a plus).
- Data Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (pivot tables, complex functions), and BI tools (Tableau, QuickBI, etc.) to derive actionable insights.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of crypto derivatives (perpetual contracts, leverage/margin, funding rates) and user trading behaviors.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and cross-team collaboration abilities.
