Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the product manager in managing the entire project lifecycle related to product requirements. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of requirement collection, documentation, functional design, and continuous optimization. It also requires active participation in identifying and resolving user experience issues across the organization, contributing to the enhancement of product capabilities. Additionally, the candidate will engage in data-driven analysis to support decision-making and participate in the initial stages of new project planning, including competitor research and solution development. The position also entails maintaining communication channels with end-users to gather feedback and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the product manager to organize and streamline the project process, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Lead the collection, documentation, and prioritization of product requirements through structured interviews, surveys, and stakeholder meetings.
- Conduct functional design reviews and propose improvements to existing product features based on user feedback and market trends.
- Aggregate and analyze daily user experience data using tools like Excel, SQL, or BI platforms to identify patterns and actionable insights.
- Participate in the creation of user-centric reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics and support product roadmap decisions.
- Support the preliminary research for new projects by conducting competitor analysis, benchmarking industry standards, and exploring innovative solutions.
- Facilitate user communication through social media, forums, and direct engagement to understand pain points and feature requests.
- Document and track user feedback systematically, ensuring it is integrated into product development cycles and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with data analysts and UX designers to cross-validate findings and ensure consistency in product strategy.
- Prepare detailed requirement specifications and functional design documents that align with technical feasibility and business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in requirement gathering methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello) to manage project workflows efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret user data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable product recommendations.
- Excellent communication abilities to articulate requirements clearly and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of UX design principles and user research techniques to contribute to product development discussions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Google Analytics) to support data-driven decision-making processes.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in requirement documentation and user feedback tracking.
- Basic understanding of project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to support iterative development cycles.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into concise summaries for team review and decision-making.
