Job Description
This role is pivotal in driving the growth of Cobo's digital asset custody business, with a specific emphasis on expanding market presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing comprehensive sales and business development strategies tailored to the unique needs of the APAC market. Additionally, they will play a key role in achieving both monthly and quarterly revenue targets across Cobo's diverse product portfolio, including custodial wallets, MPC wallets, wallet-as-a-service solutions, and other related offerings. The position requires proactive identification of new institutional clients, as well as strategic cross-selling and upselling initiatives to maximize value from existing accounts. A critical aspect of this role involves managing the entire sales lifecycle, from initial client engagement to successful onboarding, by preparing customized presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals. The candidate will also need to negotiate terms effectively and coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless client integration. Furthermore, building and maintaining strategic channel partnerships is essential to create a robust pipeline of client referrals and strengthen market reach. Representing Cobo at industry conferences and events is another key responsibility, where the candidate will act as a brand ambassador and spokesperson to enhance the company's visibility and reputation. Lastly, staying abreast of the latest market trends and competitor dynamics is crucial, with the expectation to provide actionable insights to the product development team to continuously improve offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy to expand Cobo's digital asset custody business in the APAC region, leveraging market-specific opportunities and challenges.
  • Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets across all Cobo solutions, including custodial wallets, MPC wallets, wallet-as-a-service, and other related products.
  • Identify, source, and close new institutional accounts through targeted outreach, relationship-building, and tailored sales pitches, while also driving cross-selling and upselling initiatives for existing clients.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales life cycle, encompassing client research, preparation of presentations and product demos, negotiation of terms, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Establish and nurture channel partnerships with third-party distributors, resellers, and strategic allies to generate a steady flow of client referrals and strengthen market penetration.
  • Represent Cobo at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events, delivering compelling presentations and engaging with stakeholders to reinforce the company's brand identity and market positioning.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide strategic recommendations to the product development team, ensuring Cobo's offerings remain innovative and competitive.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field within the fintech or cryptocurrency industry, with a demonstrated track record of achieving revenue targets in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital asset custody solutions, including custodial wallets, MPC wallets, and wallet-as-a-service, along with knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications in financial services.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and close deals effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, channel partners, and industry professionals, fostering trust and long-term collaboration.
  • Proficiency in market analysis and competitive intelligence, with the capability to identify emerging trends, assess market opportunities, and develop data-driven strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
